TCS Spearheads Blood Letting Program

A total of 46 bags of blood were extracted from various blood donors during the Blood Letting Program of the Trinity Christian School last Friday, October 13, 2017.

The "Dugo Mo, Buhay Ko" activity was spearheaded by the School's Clinic under the supervision of Nurse Joy Coscolluela and the Vanguards Group.

This has been a regular program of the school for many years now. For this year, most of the donors were the personnel of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO). The program was also supported by the parents and relatives of the students as well as some of the male teachers of the school.

Republic Act No. 7719, also known as the National Blood Services Act of 1994, promotes voluntary blood donation to provide sufficient supply of safe blood and to regulate blood banks. This act aims to inculcate public awareness that blood donation is a humanitarian act.

The extracted bloods were then forwarded to the Negros First Provincial Blood Center for processing.

The school would like to thank all the donors for their support. God bless all of you!
