Scholastic Book Fair is Back!

Scholastic book fair is back in Trinity Christian School to offer Trinitarians new and exciting titles. The book fair started last Monday - September 6 with the theme "Book Fair Diner". The opening ceremony and cutting of ribbon were spearheaded by Teacher Gas and Teacher Rhea.

Right after the ceremony was the plate painting contest of the high school students. Forty Trinitarians gamely joined the contest which illicited oh's and ah's from the audience after seeing their beautiful masterpieces.

Kindergarten pupils joined the coloring activity; level 1 participated in the bookmark and plastic cup decorating while the level 2 students joined the paper plate drawing activity.

Tuesday. The fun continued as the pre school pupils shrieked with glee upon seeing the two mascots- Geronimo Stilton, the detective mouse and Clifford- the big red dog. Excitement were simply painted on their faces as they awaited their turn touching and dancing Clifford and Geronimo.

The high school students were all agog in cheering and supporting their contestants in the Jeopardy game.

Pre school and elementary students are the topmost buyers of the books, literally dragging their parents to come and visit the exhibit. Finally  their faces are really painted with big smiles after their book wish lists come true.

Scholastic Inc makes it a point to offer new book collection that will surely wet the appetites of the readers. Its mission is not only about helping children to not only learn to read, but love what they are reading.

The book fair will be until this Thursday only - September 9 since Friday is a national holiday because of the celebration of the  Eid Fitr.
