Trinitarians Hold Science Week 2017
These were just some of the things that students, teachers and visitors witnessed during the Science Week Celebration last February 6-10.
Students from grades 8 to 10 decorated their rooms with their chosen theme such as Moana, Inside Out, Gravity Falls, Mythical Land, Toy Story, Naruto Shippuden, Mantangla Weng goes to Korea and Forest Camp.
Science exhibits and demonstrations were made by the students wherein they applied concepts and principles they learned in the different fields of Science such as Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science and Physics.
Students and teachers from Romanito Maravilla Memorial National High School, Angela Gonzaga National High School, Cosmopolitan Christian School, Villamonte Reformed Christian School, Rafael Alunan Elementary School and Maranatha Christian College were also invited to view the exhibits and demonstrations.
Inclusive in the Science Week was the Science Symposium with Dr. Maxino Gerardo, president of the Physics Society, as the resource speaker; he was assisted by students from Maxino College, Dumaguete City.
Meanwhile, the grade 7 served as tour guides, ushers and facilitators in the Science Olympics and students from grades 4 to 6 participated in the Science Camp themed “The Wonder Wand of Science.”
Science Week is a yearly Trinitarian celebration and it aims to further knowledge and skills of the students in the field of Science.
