Trinitarians Celebrate Chinese New Year
Trinitarians got to dress up in the traditional “qi pao” or “cheongsam”, giving the school an instant burst of colors.
High School students were taught on how to use the chop sticks. There were Chinese calligraphy lessons, writing and song competitions and other activities to celebrate the event.
On February 24, Friday, high school students will join other Chinese schools in the city, together with the Chinese community for a parade from the public plaza to the Lagoon.
Other Trinitarians will also perform dance numbers at the SMX Convention Centre.
The celebration is also a time to share and promote the Chinese cultural heritage.
