Happy New Year!

Many look forward to the New Year. It's always an opportunity to turn a new leaf. For some, the New Year means new opportunities for growth. Habitual drinkers and smokers vow to kick the old habit; others vow to create a new life-style while others plan to trim down by eating healthy food. For most of us we always wish to start fresh thus we try to make resolutions only to break them the following day.

Ellen Goodman quoted "We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential."

We may have faced so many challenges last year but let us declare that this year will be a better year for all of us.

Trinitarians have so much to look forward to this year. The 4th grading period is yet another chance to cope up with lessons and improve grades.

The third week of January is the Bible week, thus a chance to renew personal commitments with the Lord Almighty.

February is also a busy month because of the interschool academic contests such as the MTAP Dep Ed Math Challenge and the Academic Excellence Contest to name some.

And then comes March which is very crucial to all Trinitarians since this is the final grading period exams where grades will be computed together to determine honor and failing students.

Let us grab the chance to discover something new and good in us. Let us unleash our full potential by working on our good qualities; after all the New Year symbolizes the birth of hope and a renewal of life.
