TCS Celebrates Science Week
Erupting volcanoes, color changing liquids, fantastic foamy mountains... these are but some of the few experiments that were witnessed by Trinitarians during the yearly Science Fair held last February 10 - 14 at the 2nd Floor lobby of the High School Department.
After learning a lot of knowledge from their Science class all through the year, the students were challenged by their science teachers to create unique experiments that would exhibit the investigative minds of the students.
For more than two weeks, high schoolers grouped together and made plans for their activity. Some kept theirs as secret to give the activity an element of surprise while others were really very vocal of what their project would be.
Suddenly the classrooms were transformed into science laboratories! It was a beehive of activity as the kinder and elementary pupils watched in fascination as their ate's and kuya's entertained them with fascinating science projects.
The activity was a big part of the performance tasks of the high school students. It was a test for them to really identify how far they have gone with their science subjects. It was also a test of creativity and genius as each group prepared unique experiments that would merit the ohhhs and ahhhs of the spectators.
Trinitarians are always challenged by their teachers to explore and purge their creative juices in order to come up with exciting and mind boggling experiments.
