Trinitarians Join Fun Run

September 24, 2011.Before the sun rose on the horizon, a multitude of people started to gather at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon to participate in the fun run in connection with the celebration of Republic of China's centennial year. Dubbed as the "centennial run", Trinitarians from all levels excitedly joined in the fun of the morning activity.

Together with the Trinitarians were students coming from the Bacolod Tay Tung High School and St. John's Institute and other individuals from all walks of life.

The affair was highlighted with the presence of Chinese government representatives and other important individuals. The 3 kilometer and 5 kilometer runs' starting point was at the Capitol lagoon all along Lacson Street and the 3K's turning point was in front of the ABS-CBN, while the 5K's turning point was in front of Robinsons place.

John Ronnel Uy, Trinitarian's pride in the triathlon sports, took it easy and won the 5-k event, 17 under boys category and brought home Php2, 500 cash prize.

Though sweating and panting at end, Trinitarians welcomed the break from school works and most of them ended the activity with a big breakfast meal at McDonalds, Jollibee, KFC and other food establishments.
